Title: Adventures of Koala in Russia

Course: TC 840 Foundations of Digital Media Arts and Technology (Fall 2006)

Description: A flash based, interactive web site that chronicles a cat or a bear (traditional Russian folklore characters) helping a Koala (an obvious foreigner) on journey to Russia. Their journey will introduce basic tourist situations in Russian, typical mistakes made, and an overview of Russian language and culture.



Title: CAS Graduate Student Resource

Description: The CAS Graduate Student Resource is an online reference for new Masters and PhD students in the College of Communication Arts and Sciences and Michigan State University.

Description: Expressive Connections is a network for creative professionals - aimed at aspiring and accomplished writers/artists/musicians/actors/directors/etc., who are looking to begin or advance in a career utilizing their talents.



Title: The Life of Yes Man

Description: The Yes Man is a lazy young man that has lots of potential and little follow through. Help him accomplish his goals and realize his dreams in this comical interactive movie.



Title: Da Chang: The Duality of a River on an Ancient Chinese Town

Description: This is an online interactive documentary about an ancient town in China, Da Chang, which will soon be lost underwater due to the damming of the Yangtze River. This website provides users with both linear documentaries and interactive learning sections.



Title: Micro Organic Laboratory

Description: A mockumentary site about a controversial recent science discovery. The site contains video, flash, shockwave, and more.

Course: TC842 Design and Development of Media Projects (Fall 2005)

Description: This project was developed as a resource for freshman coming into MSU on eight religions that are common among the MSU student population. The project increases cultural awareness, understanding, and religious tolerance. NOTE: This project is very large and was original delivered on DVD-ROM. It is accessible through the web but may require long download times for the videos.

Description: Normal people don't usually sing without good reason. But wouldn't the world be a whole lot better place if people everywhere did enjoy the freedom to burst out into song whenever and wherever they wanted? This interactive web site promotes this.

Description: 3D K9 supplies veterinary medicine learners with accurate information regarding anatomical landmarks, current nomenclature and proper pronunciation of a canine skeletal anatomy in three dimensions.



Title: Demystify Yoga

Description: A lot of people are interested in yoga, but they either do not know much about it or have misconceptions. The goals of our project are to introduce people into the world of yoga and clear up some misconceptions using interactive multimedia.

Description: Temples of Taipei is a handheld tour guide built for mobile devices, such as the PocketPC. This application was built as part of a masters production thesis that explored the creation and use of tour guides on mobile devices.
